We're finally home

the car seat was in the middle of us and yes, she tried climbing across it to get to me!

After the doctor's okay to travel we loaded up the car and headed home last Wednesday.  It was one of the longest trips back to Sac! We stopped in Merced for a break, grabbed some food at In and Out (where we had the longest wait in history) and then made our way to my brother's so Uncle Adam could see his nephew again (he's been working in Merced all week).  We then made it to Modesto where we stopped to feed Aidan (of course he took his sweet time to nurse, even though it was 11:30 at night!).  

So the journey went well for little Aidan.  He likes the car and sleeps well in it.  Brittnie, our dog, not so well.  I was driven mad by that dog while riding in the backseat with her and the baby.  She is soooo insecure in the car.  First off, she has to be lifted into the car and then it takes her about an hour before she figures out that she can lay down.  During that hour she has to put her head on you, the car seat, Kevin's seat up front; she's all over the place and constantly moves!  And after she lays down for 20 minutes the whole process repeats!  We hope she becomes a better car rider in the future!

But it all doesn't matter because we're home!  Yay!
