He's awake and doing well!

This is his crib.  It's huge!  I could almost fit in it!

A little O2 blown in his face

Kev and I trying to wake the little guy up

The little guy resting after surgery

The baby is awake!  He's out of surgery and is back in our room.  He has two incisions on his lower abdomen and a new IV site.
It took us a while to wake him up after the anesthesia though!  He was breathing on his own and didn't need the chest tube anymore but his respiratory rate was a little low.  We had to tickle and bug him constantly to try to wake him and and to boost his respiratory rate on the monitor.  Man, it seems like forever when you're waiting for everything to return to normal! Ack!
He'll stay in the hospital overnight to make sure his breathing stays steady.  He's allowed to drink pedialite and breastmilk too.  He's on the road to recovery!
